Parrot Coal Table (SOLD)

This unusually large oval centre table is constructed in three sections; the top supported by a multi-faceted baluster shaped column resting on a flat base, the four sweeping curves terminating in rectangular feet.
width 142 cm depth 81 cm height 76 cm (36 x 32 x 30 in)
The sculptural qualities and choice of material for this table llustrate the skill of the craftsmen who lived and worked during the Industrial Revolution in 19th century Britain.
