European Bronze Age Copper Torcs
8th to 6th Century B.C.
These remarkably preserved and elegant Bronze Age penanular torcs would have been worn around the neck by high status individuals in the pre-Roman Celtic tribes inhabiting Northern Europe. They formed part of a small hoard originally discovered in Thuringen in Central Germany and are beautiful examples of Late Bronze Age / Early Iron Age European finds.
