An Anglo-Indian Box (SOLD)

Circa 1850

The box isĀ  inlaid overall with satinwood squares, ivory banding and ebony stringing both externally and internally. It is supported on four ivory button feet.

This ornate box was probably commissioned to contain a pair of pistols.
