The Telescope is Inscribed
"Thos. Harris & Son Optician to His Majesty, London"
It has a single draw gilded brass tube and mounts and is covered in a red embroidered velvet; it is contained within its original mahogany case
Length 64 cm - opened length 80 cm (25 + 31.5 in)
Less elaborate examples are held in the collections of the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, England
